Skin Boosters do exactly what they say, they improve the skin. They can do this in several ways, using various ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, amino acids and peptides.

What can they be used for?

Skin Boosters are generally used for minimising the ageing process side effects, by improving skin hydration, skin texture, improving pigmentation, stimulating collagen and elastin as well as enhancing skin radiance.

  • Patients who are pregnant and breastfeeding

  • Patients who have allergies to the Skin Boosters ingredients

  • Patients who are undergoing medical treatment on the area

How long do the results last?

Depending on the patient’s concern, the results can last 3-6 months. To prolong these results, it is advised to be using suitable at-home skin care. Patients are advised to have additional treatments 3-6 monthly to maintain the results.

How long does the treatment take?

Skin Boosters can take up to 1 hour depending on the area being treated.

How many treatments do I need?

Initially, we advise 3 treatments to give the skin the best chance of hydration and collagen stimulation. Some patients may require more if they have more severe concerns.

Is there any down time?

Depending on which method Skin Boosters are administered the downtime can be 24-72 hours. Generally, patients show no obvious signs of treatment after 48 hours.

How long before I see results?

Most patients will notice improvement immediately, however, if treating issues like pigmentation then this can take a couple of weeks to improve.
